The working principle of this double cantilever welding machine is similar with gantry-type welding machine. The difference is that, for gantry welding machine, the welding is accomplished between two rails; for double cantilever welding machine, the welding is accomplished outside the rails. It can weld the H-beam which is higher than 1.5m, no limit for beam height. When it is single arc single wire welding , the welding power can be settled on the machine trolley, while it is double arc double wire, there are total 4 welding source, can not be settled on the trolley.

Double column welding machine is composed by moving trolley, vertical column, up platform, welding arm and tool carriage, welding seam tracking system, wire feeding device, wire reel supporter, flux recovery system, electrical control system, SAW source etc.

Moving trolley is composed by union of two moving beams. The moving trolley is driven by two motors speed-reducer, the system is double driving, which insure the moving stable and reliable. The moving trolley can hold two SAW power source.
