The back welding machine is often used before submerged arc welding for box beam. It can avoid high current burning-through the bottom of welding seam. The main manner of backing welding for box beam is single arc single wire. Double arc double wire can also be employed to carry out that welding process. The equipment is mainly composed of lining trolley, welding arm, welding torch mechanical tracking device, pneumatic system, electric control system, welding flux recovering system and gas shielded welding power supply. The Panasonic YD-600KH welder is often chosen as the welding power for the equipment.

The electrical control box is install inside of vertical boom ,operation panel is on the door of electric control box . The electrical control box is control the moving of cart, elevating of welding arm and power start/stop. The cart moving is frequency control .It can adjust the moving speed according to the welding technology.
