2. Description:

This machine is made of a hosting (foundation, working table, gantry frame and a main tapping), electricity-control system, hydraulic system, cooling system and chip enclosure.

a. foundation: it was welded by plate and short tube, after being treated it has such characteristics of good rigidity, small deformation.

b. working table: there are two moveable working tables, and them can be used either alone or together. When one of them is working, the other can be used to load (unload) the work-piece. There are 12 clamping cylinders on the working table which clamp the work-piece automatically.

c. Gantry frame: it was welded by plates and after being treated it has such characteristics of good rigidity and small deformation.

d. the main tapping (spindle head): it used to drive the spindle rotation, feed movement, the axial force when drilling.

e. the electricity controlling system: it is a system of coordinating various parts of the whole machine and it has a good man-machine interface, and the users can set any machining parameter according to requirements.

f. hydraulic system: it provides driving force for the feeding of the main drives and the hydraulic clamps when it’s drilling, and it will be in a unloading state when it does not work in order to save energy.

g. cooling system: when the machine is drilling, it will cool and lubricate the head to lengthen its available time and quality.

h. the chip enclosure: it is used to accumulate the iron filings to the hoppers. It is also called cooling hydraulic station.
